Loyola University Medical Center/Loyola Medicine Home Care & Hospice – Maywood, IL

The grant will cover services such as pain management and symptom control when patients cannot pay. The goal is to reach more patients and to keep them comfortable and focused on life and spending time with friends and families for as long as possible.

Loyola Medicine Home Care and Hospice (LMHC&H) was established in 1994 to meet the home health, hospice, and palliative care needs across all of the facilities of Loyola Medicine, a regional, academic health system based in Chicago’s western suburbs that includes Loyola University Medical Center. LMHC&H promises to “go beyond the illness to treat the whole person,” as well to “also treat the human spirit.” In the spring of 2023, LMHC&H will also be formalizing the launch of a Palliative Care program.
