The grant will help remove financial barriers and increase equity in access to end-of-life care by providing uncompensated hospice services to all qualified applicants throughout the communities it serves with the establishment of a Charity Care Program. It will attempt to eliminate the decline in use of hospice-appropriate services in individuals who cannot afford hospice care.
