The grant will support hospice services in training staff, purchasing equipment (where necessary), and integrating new services for patients via three types of therapy: music and memory; massage therapy; and a Flight to Remember, which allows patients and families to reconnect with a meaningful place they never thought they would see again.
The mission of Providence Life Services is to enhance the lives of those it serves in the name of Jesus Christ. It has been providing end-of-life care since 2002, with Providence Hospice operating in Illinois and Indiana.
