Elea Institute invites qualified organizations to apply for funding through our 2026 National grantmaking cycle. We are committed to partnering with organizations that expand access to hospice and palliative care, advance research and education, and address unmet needs in serious illness care across the United States.

Elea Institute's 2026 grantmaking is organized around four aspirational pillars. Organizations whose work aligns with one or more of these areas are encouraged to apply.
Enhancing access to serious illness care for underserved populations, including expanding geographic reach, reducing disparities, and removing systemic barriers.
Building professional capabilities among caregivers, clinicians, and healthcare teams through evidence-based research, clinical training, and educational resources.
Advancing public understanding of hospice and palliative care options through national research, awareness campaigns, and advocacy initiatives.
Supporting innovative and transformative ideas that address unmet needs in serious illness care, including new models of care delivery and technology-enabled solutions.
